Isn’t it great that Radio 4 seems to have rediscovered the 90 minute drama.

Recent Saturday Play broadcasts have been feature length broadcasts (as the BBC now likes to call them).

Still this has to be encouraging news. I do feel that these drama’s have tended to fit into the “high-brow” category, but perhaps the response will encourage Radio 4 to give us a feature length crime and thriller production, other than Agatha Christie (which I love by the way).

No doubt next week will return to the 60 minute productions, so please accept my apologies for tempting fate and bringing the current run to an end !!!
